2027 Scholarship Application Period - NOW OPEN

The Southeast Regional Chapter of The National Academy Television Arts & Sciences is proud to offer up to $6,000 in scholarships for qualified students pursuing a career in media and/or broadcast.

High school seniors and current undergraduate students within the Southeast Region of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Asheville North Carolina are eligible to apply.

Eligibility requirements include:

Students must be 18 or older at the time of the Scholarship award by March 20, 2027.
Students must be legal residents of, or attend college within the NATAS Southeast Region (Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Asheville, North Carolina) or be accepted into a college or university within the Southeast Region at the time of entry.
Students must provide two letters of recommendation.
Students must provide a one-to-three page essay.
Applicants must provide a link to a work sample with the application.

Any application that does not meet the above-stated minimum requirements will not be considered.

1-3 Page essay answering the following question: Why are you pursuing a career in the television/media industry?
Link to a sample of your work. Please include a brief description of your role on the sample. (i.e. producer, director, editor, etc.)
