Welcome to the website for the Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. As one of nineteen regional chapters of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, we are the standard-bearers for excellence in the television broadcasting industry and the gatekeepers of the prestigious regional EMMY® Awards.  The Southeast Chapter represents the most experienced and talented television professionals from all disciplines of the industry and from each of our television markets (Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina and Asheville, NC).

2015 CALL FOR EMMY Entries

The Southeast EMMY Chapter is now accepting entries for the 2015 Southeast Emmy Awards.  Please read the Eligibility Criteria, Rules and Entry procedures carefully, as each year there are changes and additions!  Good Luck!

Changes for 2015 include:
New Categories: #38 Interstitial, #47 Journalistic Enterprise
Expanded #5 General Assignment and #57 Photographer to includeNo Time Limit sub category
Updated  #14 Children/Youth to include All Ages, #30A Documentary Topical to include Environmental and #56E On-Camera Talent Performer/Narrator to include Sports Play-by-Play
Removed Documentary – Cultural
Eligibility Dates:  January 1, 2014 – December 31, 2014
Entry Deadline:  Thursday, January 29, 2015

The NATAS SF/Nor Cal Chapter and IBEW SF are partnering to present a Fall series of master classes in TV production/post production free to Southeast Emmy Chapter members, $25 each for non-members.  The classes will also be live webcast to NATAS and IBEW members and then archived on YouTube.
RSVP’s are required, use the link under each class description.

Each webcast will begin at 2:00pm EST.  The online audience will be able to ask questions of the instructors during Q&A periods, along with the live audience.  Each class will be divided into three segments.  The classes will end at 4:30 p.m. EST.
